I have a blog at blogger.com and i am trying to blog about useful things,things people may want to know, and well my randomness.
but what i don’t know is how to get people to find my blog, follow and read it. Any ideas?

Put it on your email signature, if you have StumbleUpon you could give it a thumbs up and then other people will stumbleUpon it. You could attach it to everything you do. On yahoo 360 put it on top of your page so people can click on the link.

Anywhere you go, if you leave comments on other blogs attach it to there as well.

So I’ve literally only just started up this blog called AmoreMio Beauty on blogspot, so obviously I know no one will have seen it yet. I was just wondering if blog popularity comes with time, or if it shows up more on google with the more posts you upload or if you have to do something else to get it noticed? thanks

1.Comment other blogs and use your blog link as a signature. Normally if your comments are good the blog owner will take a look at your blog.

2.Advertise your blog to everyone you know.

3. Write good compositions, information or post good pictures on your blog.

Finally, every popular site comes with time, you have to be patient. Keep develop your blog also, people will come back to read your blog again if you keep update.

I just would like to know how I can create a web blog, but I’m not too sure how to do that. If anyone would be kind enough to do that, I am saying to you "Thank You so very much".

This Taylor website actually follows her style and offers tips on how to copy her hair, makeup and clothing. You can click on the photos and they give you step by step directions on how to copy it. You will probably be able to find that look, or one very similar, on there.

What is this top contributor malarkey?

I’ve tried to read the blog and stuff, but still don’t understand it…

The more you answer in a particular category, and the more Best Answers you get (not the percentage) the more likely you are to get a "top contributor" badge next to your name, up to 3 categories. Levels, and points have nothing to do with it. I have it for answering in Yahoo 360 and Yahoo Answers categories, neither of which am I on the leaderboard, but I have been answering alot of questions in these categories recently. I do lead the category DIY and I do not have "top contributor" for that category, but I haven’t answered much in that one for a while.

Does she just use blogspot?
because i want to make my own web url, but just using a blog or whatever.

I have created a banner for my blog. I have inserted it as an image in the blog title. It is aligned to the left and I cannot seem to get it centred. Any suggestions?

There is NO float: center;! Whatever the container the image is in, you must set a width and height for it. Then you can use the CSS property: margin: 0 auto;

For example, to use the image as a background and to center it inside the div container using inline CSS:

<div style="width: XXpx; height: YYpx; margin: 0 auto; background: url(path_to_banner_image.jpg) no-repeat center scroll;"></div>

You could just place that where you want banner to appear and it will center. Tweak width/height as needed.

I see so many things now-a-days about how to write a blog. But nothing really seems to break it down in a way I can get a full understanding.

Can anyone give me a break down of how I would want to write a blog people would want to read?

i think the secret to blogs is not too many paragraphs, something like jokes or facts to keep people interested, and some sort of advice. that’s what i look for in a blog.
