John, I sorry to hear this. My doctor recently prescribed levaquin to me (Prostatis) and my wife ask me to look up the side effects on it. I decided not to take it, definitely after this horrible story. I hope you get the help you need.
P.S. You may want to try homeopatic way, because I think that’s what I’m going to do here on out.

John, thank you so much for this post.
I was a victim of levaquin (500mg)and and am plagued by many of your same indications. My life is a painful hell. My records now read a “quinolone” allergy when but what I really want is my health back. Everything is out of wack–GI, back pain, joint and tendon problems where there were none. I was a model of perfect health and now I’m a wreck. It has been 15 months since that one (four days) reaction. Keep telling em! Stay away from Fluoroquinolones! -h

“Jpursley” below is Jason Pursley, a pharmaceutical sales rep for Schering-Plough makers of Cipro. You will find him on the Linkedin website. He left a comment on my site denying nerve and tendon damage caused by quinolones that the FDA issued black box warnings on. Judging by his writing style (or lack thereof), he is probably leaving similar comments elsewhere. Look for him.

I was given levaquin 500 mg a while back for an infection it sorta helped but then today i took it around 1:30 an woke up around 4:15 feelin horrible i felt so irritable and restless and my blood pressure drop i wouldnt give this medicine to my worst enemy. I hope they do take it off the market forever and any other medicine that produces such horrific and long term side efects.
