What Are Your Google Chrome Web Browser Tips and Tricks?

http://live.pirllo.com – Now that you can download Google Chrome, are you going to switch? Granted, this is an early version of the browser, based on very solid pieces of technology. Is it enough, in your limited time playing with it? I’ve been trying to dive deeper and discover features that may not seem to be available on the surface.

i was just looking at sites on the internet and an add came up for googlecrome and i clicked on it and when it was done loading i useed it and im on it now, but omg it is so fast,facebook,myspace,other sites they r fast!!!!!. i will use this program for ever till the upgrade comes. but im inpressed very much. just had to say that.

I’m very happy for you. I’m glad you like it. I was , like I said “not impressed”. It has other problems beside speed. Not user friendly, or intuitive.

again, it’s not the browser. I have been running Chrome for WAY longer than you and it is as fast now as it was when I first installed it and WAY faster than Firefox. So you must’ve installed a dodgy addon, or obtained some malicious script or something. i didn’t mean to insult you. i was just making the point that Google Chrome IS fast, and if it was the browser causing the problem, i’d have experienced it too.

Oh really? Keep running it for awhile. My Computer is clutter free, and in optimum condition. I’m using Firefox, and it’s much faster.

@Hornilope even with extensions nothing has been slowed down for me. It’s not “the extensions” it’s possibly a particular extension.

@darthirakli the address bar is NOT a spy bar. It’s an OMNIbar. It doubles as a search bar. you can set a master password with the Last Pass addon, so that’s irrelevant as well. You’re picking faults that aren’t there.

@badalice07 sorry, but i’m afraid it’s you, not the browser. Chrome started fast and stayed fast for me. It has been the most stable web browser I have ever used, even with Addons installed. Learn to look after your system properly then give Chrome another try.

@badalice07 Yep, I had the same experience with Google Chrome. Not to mention things like inability to set Master Password in order to protect saved passwords, and the fact that the address bar in Chrome is actually a spy bar.

I’ve been running …
I’ve been running Google Chrome for two weeks now, and I’m ready to dump it. It started out fast, but is now lagging hard. Flash players will not link, and locks up. No easy tabs for (Web, Images, Videos) it looks cool, however I’m not impressed. I’m going back to my old reliable browser. Sorry Google.

not really a fan of chrome ,lots of errors flash 10 is buggy and wordpress looks ugly in it because of rounded corners rendered fuzzy!

I switched from Yahoo, to Google Chrome this morning. Fast, easy access to fav. sites.
I’m liking it. I was hesitant until I watched demo. Glad I made the switch.
