What is a blog all about and how do i make one?

I want to make a blog but first i need to know some stuff. How do i make one? Does it cost? and wat do u do? lol i know i don’t even know the basics but when i find out I’ll definatley make one. I think it sounds cool. i know wat it is i just need some help?

You can make a free blog (about anything not illegal or immoral) at http://www.wordpress.com/ for free. Just go to the site, look around, sign up, etc. A blog can be about anything you want – news, fashion, sports, music, spaghetti, trees (even spaghetti trees, if you know the joke) – whatever you’re interested in.

Google the phrase ‘blogspot’ for making a free blog.
As for what it is, it’s you talking about something, as if to a diary, and having certain, some, or no people view it, and possibly comment, or link to it.
Famous people have heavily followed blogs, like Twitter accounts, but with more than 160 characters per entry. I follow Chris Cooley of the Washington Redskins blog, because he is funny, and makes fun of his team.
Some people use their blogs for tutorial purposes, and choose to add links, and pictures to make it more appealing.
Also, Google ’stumbleupon’ and use it a LOT.

Blog is short for "weblog" and is open to a wide range of topics depending on your interests. So you can blog about what ever you like.
